Job summary

Summit Building Services in Knoxville, TN is seeking a part-time 2nd shift janitorial worker for weekends to keep a commercial office building clean and well-kept, including private offices, conference rooms, and kitchen spaces.

Hours are 2.5 hours weekly (two 2.5-hour shifts after 5pm on weekends). Pay is $16.00 per hour. You must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a drug test and background check. Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to commute to shift.
• Able to pass drug test and background check.
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, commercial cleaning, or janitorial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop.
• Clean floors: mop, sweep, dust, and pick up objects.
• Clean restrooms: restock dispensers, empty trash, sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, and clean tiles.
• Maintain equipment and restock supplies.
• Keep janitor's closet and areas organized; separate clean/dirty laundry.
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share facility information.
• Communicate with Area Manager regarding timekeeping, supplies, and client requests.
• Follow health and safety regulations and perform any assigned duties.
