Great Lakes Cheese is seeking a Sanitation worker to clean and sanitize plant equipment in accordance with GMPs and safety policies. You will read chemical labels, operate sanitation equipment, and perform routine floor and equipment cleaning.

Responsibilities include line sanitation with power washers, disassembling equipment, and adhering to Safe Quality Food programs. Ability to work overtime may be required; high school diploma or GED is required.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• General understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Ability to read, comprehend and communicate safety labels on chemical containers.

Mansioni

• Clean and sanitize equipment using chemicals and power washers.
• Read chemical labels to ensure safe applications.
• Manual scrubbing of machine areas with brushes or scrub pads.
• Light cleaning of coolers and sweeping floors.
• Clean floors using a floor scrubber and disassemble equipment as needed.
• Pressure wash rugs and clean overhead levels with a man lift.
• Adhere to safety policies and Safe Quality Food program standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
