USPS is seeking applicants for Assistant Rural Carrier to serve nationwide routes. In this role you deliver and collect parcels along suburban and rural routes, often using your own vehicle. The position mainly operates on weekends and holidays with possible full-time parcel delivery duties.

You will work outdoors, assist customers, and perform mail handling tasks as part of daily USPS operations. Starting pay rate is $23.47–$38.62 per hour, with average annual compensation up to $72,400

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance : Address mail-related questions and service issues from customers
• Mail Handling : Sort, label, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail accurately and efficiently
• Clerical Work : Perform administrative support tasks to aid daily USPS operations
• Service Support : Assist with services such as mail forwarding, package holds, and change-of-address requests
