Nyack Ridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Valley Cottage, NY is seeking an experienced RN Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership during weekend shifts. You will oversee nursing operations, mentor staff, and ensure safe, high-quality resident care across Saturday and Sunday coverage.

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience.
• At least 1 year supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong leadership and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Current BLS; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during weekend shifts.
• Ensure residents receive compassionate, high-quality care.
• Conduct regular clinical rounds and assess resident conditions.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition, emergencies, falls, admissions, and other clinical situations.
• Serve as the primary nursing leader and resource for staff during weekend operations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and the care team.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, incidents, and reports.
• Monitor infection control, medication administration, and facility policies.
• Mentor and coach nursing staff to promote teamwork and development.
