Central Texas Nursing is seeking a dedicated Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing care across weekend shifts. You will supervise staff, oversee medication management, implement care plans, and provide direct patient care support as needed.

The role requires an active Texas RN license, strong leadership, and solid documentation abilities. You will collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality resident care, adherence to policies, and effective shift communications.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed RN with active Texas license and strong nursing leadership experience.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff, delegate tasks, and manage documentation.
• Skilled in care planning, medication oversight, and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Nursing Staff and delegate duties based on census.
• Oversee Medication Management and coordinate reorders.
• Implement Care Plans per policy and physician orders.
• Provide Direct Care Support and supervise treatments.
• Manage Documentation and transcribe orders accurately.
• Lead Shift Communication and ensure care needs are communicated.

We’re seeking a dependable and professional Weekend RN Supervisor to join our growing team! This role is essential to maintaining quality resident care and nursing operations during weekend shifts. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency in attendance are critical, along with the ability to multitask, lead with professionalism, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Weekend RN Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Supervise Nursing Staff: Assign and delegate duties appropriately based on resident census and staff availability

• Oversee Medication Management: Monitor medication administration and coordinate reorders

• Implement Care Plans: Ensure care plans are followed according to company policy and physician orders

• Provide Direct Care Support: Perform and supervise treatments, and serve as staff nurse as needed

• Manage Documentation: Transcribe physician orders promptly, complete assessments, and maintain accurate records

• Lead Shift Communication: Participate in shift reports and ensure staff are informed of care needs

• Ensure Compliance: Enforce infection control procedures and safe work practices

• Respond to Staffing Needs: Coordinate coverage for staffing shortages

• Oversee Incidents: Investigate variances, contact families, and complete incident reports

• Manage Lab Work: Monitor lab orders, results, and physician follow-up

This position requires a minimum of eight (8) consecutive hours of work per day during assigned shifts.
