Job summary

First Atlantic HealthCare in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our weekend nursing staff under the Weekend Warrior program. You will maintain accurate patient records, administer medications, monitor for side effects, and report changes in patient conditions.

This 26-week contract runs Friday 6:30am to Monday 7:00pm, with a wage range of $37.00–$43.00 per hour plus a $5.00 weekend differential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in nursing and a state license are essential requirements.
• Trained in BLS/CPR and ACLS certification.
• Professional, friendly attitude and effective communication skills are keys to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
• Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
