This part-time weekend role includes oversight of operations, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a valid state nursing license; advanced degree or certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license
• Advanced degree or certification preferred
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Long-Term Care setting preferred
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
• Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
• Strong clinical, leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Leading an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care
• Oversight of facility operations, safety, cleanliness, and compliance with nursing policies and regulations
• Supervising nursing staff and coordinating staffing and resource allocation
• Collaborating to develop and implement care plans
• Conducting regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
• Mentoring, training, and supporting nursing staff
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and protocols
