Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the WI Regional Float - Med/Surg Weekend Only Program in Green Bay, WI. This weekend-only role supports the float pool across St. Vincent’s, St. Mary’s, St. Clare, and St. Nicholas Hospitals with a Fri-Sun 7a-7p schedule.

Position specifics include 36 hrs/week, full-time status, and licensure requirements. Eligible for comprehensive benefits as part of our healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.
• 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required.
• Wisconsin RN license must be obtained within 30 days of establishing permanent residency.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Certification in area of specialty is preferred but may be required to float.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on our med/surg float team across multiple facilities in Green Bay and surrounding WI communities.
• Float to departments in need and handle a wide range of conditions.
• Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
