Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting in Huntingburg, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Weekend Option BONUS program. The role involves observing residents, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and the director of nursing.

Candidates must be licensed in Indiana with at least 2 years in long-term care and strong communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in IN.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
• Long term care experience preferred
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills

Responsibilities

• Make rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents
• Prepares and administers medications charts as required
• Administers treatments
• Consults with physicians
• Communicates with director of nursing and staff
