Job summary

Touchstone Communities is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to lead clinical teams at the Las Alturas Brownsville Veterans facility. You will mentor LVNs and CNAs, ensure high-quality resident care, and uphold regulatory standards while championing the Touchstone Experience for Veterans and families.

You will coordinate staffing, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive clinical outcomes in a caring, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license or Compact State RN license is required.
• 2+ years of long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to resident advocacy and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care per regulatory standards.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for LVNs, CNAs, and other staff.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment to support engagement and growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident wellbeing and outcomes.
• Assist with staffing coordination, clinical oversight, and shift operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational policies.
