Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join as an independent contractor, primarily working on weekends with occasional weekdays under the RHRP (Reserve Health Readiness Program). The role involves vaccine administration to military service members and conducting pre-vaccination assessments.

Responsibilities include vaccine handling, patient education, and detailed documentation. A valid US RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 2 years of clinical RN experience are

• Active RN license in the United States.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience.
• CPR and BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Vaccine Administration: Administer vaccines per protocols; ensure safe storage, handling and disposal.
• Patient Assessment: Conduct pre-vaccination assessments and educate patients about risks and benefits.
• Documentation And Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate records of vaccine administration and reactions.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
