Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Evansville is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our unit. The schedule is full-time with weekends only, offering a flexible Fri-Mon days shift. Compensation features up to $59.25/hour depending on shift and experience, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

We provide extensive orientation, education benefits including BSN scholarship, and a strong clinical ladder. Our team focuses on compassionate, high-quality post-ICU care for critically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation in appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed correctly.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
