Job summary

Marlora is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) to join our post-acute rehabilitation team in Long Beach, California. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care to residents while adhering to physician orders and facility policies.

Qualified candidates will hold a California RN license, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and be proficient with PCC or similar clinical software. The position is weekend-based with PM or AM shift options and offers competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid California RN license
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care, in-patient rehab, or behavioral health setting
Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and document changes
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents’ needs and goals
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure accurate, complete, and current charting and documentation
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
Educate residents and families about healthcare needs and treatments
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed
Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
