Job summary

Southern Live Oak Wellness (SLOW) Academy in Dunwoody, GA is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the weekend day shift team (Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) in an 8-bed inpatient eating disorder program.

The RN will provide medical and psychiatric nursing support, monitor vitals, administer meds, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure medical safety and recovery-focused care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and ongoing health monitoring for assigned clients.
• Monitor vital signs, hydration, nutrition, and overall medical stability.
• Identify condition changes and communicate with providers and treatment team.
• Administer medications safely and monitor effectiveness and side effects.
• Support meals and nutritional rehabilitation programs.
• Document patient care accurately in EMR (KIPU).
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies.
