Job summary

Recovery Network of Programs is seeking a Part Time Residential Monitor at Tina Klem Serenity House in Bridgeport, CT. The role includes supervising clients, maintaining safety, and coordinating with a multi‑disciplinary team on weekends.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (or equivalent) with minimal direct experience; an Associate Degree in health fields is preferred. The position offers patient care responsibilities and potential for growth within the nonprofit sector.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year experience in human services; residential experience preferred.
• Associate Degree in human/social/behavioral health and two years experience in related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of homelessness, substance abuse and mental illness; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Remains always awake and alert to tend to responsibilities as a Residential Monitor, the needs of the program and the clients.
• Interacts courteously and professionally with peers and clients alike.
• Collaborates with an intradisciplinary team including court, prosecutor’s office, public defender’s office, probation, parole and clients.
• Supervises clients, ensures safety and security of building by checking each floor as scheduled.
• Provides direct care of clients and may provide transportation as needed.
• Answers phones, informs clients concerning available services, andEntry into building.
• Compiles daily client statistics and records client activities.
• Participates in staff meetings.
• Assumes other duties as deemed by supervisor.
