Job summary

The Bristal in Holtsville, NY is seeking a Resident Care Aide for casual Fridays and Saturdays, 7a-3p, on-site. The role focuses on compassionate, hands-on care to senior residents, with emphasis on ADL support and respectful daily interactions.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, guiding residents to meals and activities, and ensuring safety under supervision. English fluency and dementia care experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide
• Must be able to speak and read in English
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• High school education required

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Supporting residents in achieving their highest level of physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being
• Following all policies and procedures, and adhering to the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness
