Job summary

Riverwalk Village is seeking a friendly Weekend Receptionist to join the American Senior Communities team in Indiana. This part-time role focuses on greeting visitors, residents, and staff, while handling front desk tasks with professionalism.

You will manage phone inquiries, assist with lightweight administrative duties, and help create a comforting environment for residents during weekend shifts. Experience in customer service is valued, with GED or high school diploma required.

Qualifications

  • Passion for geriatric advocacy and senior care excellence.
  • 1–3 months of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors, residents and staff; manage front desk tasks.
  • Operate a multi-line phone system and route calls.

Weekend Receptionist Opportunity at Riverwalk Village

Part-Time Weekend Hours Available


The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff. The receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment while handling a variety of administrative and front desk duties.



Skills Needed


  • Customer Service and Communication: Friendly and professional demeanor providing patience, empathy, active listening skills and the ability to provide clear communication.

  • Administrative and Office Skills: The ability to manage a multi-line phone system. Mail handling, data entry, filing and recording keeping.

  • Supportive Presence: Creating a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

  • Teamwork: The ability to work towards a common goal of excellent care for our residents.



Requirements


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • Strong passion for geriatric advocacy and commitment to senior care excellence.

  • One to three months of related experience.
