Qualifications

• CT scanning independently for radiation procedures.
• Venipuncture for CT procedures performed independently.
• Radiologic procedures performed independently.
• Adheres to radiation safety procedures per policy.
• Ability to communicate procedures to patients effectively.
• Supervises radiography students in departmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scanning independently.
• Performs venipuncture for CT procedures and operates power injector.
• Performs radiologic procedures independently.
• Operates DR to process X-ray images independently.
• Operates radiation-emitting X-ray equipment independently.
• Supervises radiography students in the department.
• Responds to phone calls and uses the hospital computer systems proficiently.
• Follows patient identification procedures for correct patient/procedure/date.
• Maintains radiation safety practices as required.
• Communicates with patients to explain procedures clearly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
