The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for weekend night shift (6:30pm–7am) at Bell Hospital. The role involves performing X-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images across main campus facilities, with emphasis on high-acuity and teaching environments.

Responsibilities include operating both fixed and mobile equipment, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Graduate of a 2-year accredited Radiology Technology program.
• BLS certification required or obtainable.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (LRT) credential in Kansas within 90 days of hire.
• Radiography (ARRT) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Perform x-ray procedures to produce diagnostic images.
• Operate fixed and mobile radiography equipment across departments.
• Train and mentor student technologists as needed.
• Adhere to patient safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
• Support data collection for process improvement and quality metrics.
