Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Principal Specialist in Quality Control (Chemistry) for a weekend shift. The role focuses on analysis of materials and products, leading QC chemistry activities, and ensuring regulatory compliance across testing methods and SOPs.

The position requires 5+ years in FDA-regulated environments, strong technical writing, and mentorship capabilities. Anticipated salary range is published; comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or previous work experience in a similar role or related science field preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with 21 CFR 210, 211 in FDA regulated industry (Pharmaceutical or Medical Device).
• Experience in authoring SOPs, Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations and Laboratory Investigations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; strong technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of incoming materials, in-process, and product samples.
• Serves as a technical mentor and training to personnel in the chemistry department.
• May lead and facilitate qualification of analytical instrumentation.
• Executes method verification, validation, and/or transfer protocols; instrument qualification scripts.
• Performs stability testing in alignment with stability protocols.
