Job summary

Mölnlycke is seeking a full-time Production Technician for our Wiscasset, Maine site. This entry-level role includes comprehensive on-the-job training and supports the full manufacturing process for Specialty Wound Care products.

The position operates on weekends (Friday–Sunday) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM with starting pay of $24.16/hour, and there are opportunities for raises and career growth within our tiered pay model. Apply safety, quality, and lean principles daily.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with comprehensive, paid on-the-job training.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed.
• Comfortable following GMP and ISO quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform production processing duties in the manufacturing of Specialty Wound Care products.
• Manufacture fluidized medium used to produce Fluidized Positioners from raw materials to finished goods.
• Follow GMP, quality guidelines, and documentation requirements.
• Prepare, inspect, monitor, and operate production materials and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment in compliance with EHS guidelines.
• Identify and report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Contribute to efficient and safe manufacturing through Lean principles.
• Participate in training, learning programs, and development planning.

Position Overview

The Production Technician performs a variety of hands-on manufacturing and processing duties required to produce Specialty Wound Care products. This role supports the full manufacturing process—from raw materials through finished goods—while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety and quality requirements.

This is anentry-level positionwithcomprehensive, paid on-the-job training, making it an excellent opportunity to begin or grow a career in manufacturing.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift:6:00 AM - 6:00PM ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday )
• Starting pay: $24.16 per hour (Pay Range $24.16 to $35.00 per hour)

What You’ll Do

• Perform production processing duties in the manufacturing of Specialty Wound Care products

• Identify and promptly report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor
• Contribute to efficient and safe manufacturing through attention to detail and Lean manufacturing principles
• Participate in training, learning programs, and individual development planning

Physical & Work Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Over 75% of the workday spent standing or walking
• Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator
• Close and color vision required

Preferred:

• Prior manufacturing or production experience
• Basic familiarity with process equipment
