Job summary

Heaven Hill is seeking a Direct Labor Associate at the Deep Eddy Vodka production facility in Buda, TX. The role focuses on ensuring packaging quality and efficient line support on a 12-hour overnight shift (5:30 pm–6:00 am) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

You will inspect bottles, clean lines, and collaborate with teammates to uphold quality standards while organizing the workspace using 5S methods and handling pallet jacks for material movement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Keen eye for product and packaging quality requirements.
• Strong teamwork and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bottles to ensure quality of packaging as bottles proceed through bottling line.
• Clean bottling lines throughout production and post-production.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure packaging meets quality standards.
• Examine all items on bottles for component accuracy.
• Organize work area using 5S techniques: sweeping, mopping, cleaning, cataloging and maintaining area.
• Transfer cases weighing up to 50 pounds to keep production moving.
• Assemble knockdown cases as needed.
• Operate manual or electric pallet jacks to disperse components and finished goods.
• Discard outdated or defective product.
• Utilize compactors to bale cardboard.
• Perform additional requests by Supervisor to guarantee efficiency.
• Champion positive communication, teamwork, and align with core values.

What the Role Is
