Job summary

ESCAMBIA COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY is seeking a weekend PRN Registered Radiology Technologist to cover Friday/Saturday nights. The role involves image acquisition, room setup, patient communication, and adherence to ALARA standards.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT in good standing or eligible, be BLS certified, and have advanced registry or CT experience. Per diem schedule flexibility and hospital setting support are offered.

Qualifications

• ARRT in good standing or eligible.
• BLS certified.
• Advanced registry or 1-year CT experience required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process images for routine and diagnostic procedures as approved by the radiologist.
• Prepare the room and maintain supplies, equipment and documents required for procedures.
• Provide information to patient/family about the procedure.
• Utilize ALARA techniques to minimize radiation exposure.
• Communicate relevant patient information to the Radiologist.
• Maintain continuing education for ARRT registries.
• All other duties/skills will be discussed at interview.
