Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Outpatient Physical Therapy Department is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support our outpatient therapy teams through weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, state licensure, CPR certification every two years, and MS or DPT preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state with current licensure; APTA membership encouraged but not required.
• CPR certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation and progress notes.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards and adjusts schedules to patient needs.
• Participates in process management to improve quality and efficiency of services.
• Supervises PT students and PT assistant students to develop clinical skills.
• Communicates professionally with patients, physicians, staff and external customers.
• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
