Job summary

University Health & Rehabilitation Center in Durham, NC is seeking a qualified CNA for weekend PRN shifts. The CNA will deliver individualized resident care per care plans and assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and safety.

Daily tasks also include monitoring health status and engaging residents in meaningful activities. This role emphasizes compassionate care and teamwork within a supportive nursing staff, with opportunities for daily pay and career growth at a facility

Qualifications

• Active unencumbered CNA certification in North Carolina.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident’s plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning safely.
• Monitor residents’ health status and vital signs and report changes to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.
