Aveanna Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing care in patients' homes. The role involves documenting care, following physician orders, and coordinating with the supervising RN to ensure quality outcomes.

The position requires an active LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and reliable transportation. Light travel within the service area is expected, with opportunities for skill advancement and flexible scheduling including days, nights, and weekends.

Formación

• Requires active LPN/LVN license in state of practice.
• CPR certification with hands-on component (or ability to obtain after hire).
• TB skin test current within last 12 months.
• Six months nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide and document skilled nursing care under RN supervision.
• Observe and assess patient condition and report changes to supervisor/physician.
• Document all nursing actions and care coordination in a timely manner.
• Participate in and update the nursing care plan.
• Maintain infection control per OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and self-care techniques.
• Pursue ongoing education and skill evaluations to maintain competency.
