Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and highly complex laboratory tests according to the laboratory's standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.
• Perform, review, and document laboratory quality control procedures.
• Identify potential problems, determine potential solutions, and take appropriate action to maintain high quality in test processes and results.
• Provide leadership as a shift senior scientist and assist laboratory supervisors with procedures and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and document any issues for resolution.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
