Job summary

UNC Health Rex Holly Springs Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide per diem weekend coverage. You will evaluate patients, plan and adjust PT treatment programs, and document care in the medical record under physician orders.

The role includes supervising PT students or staff and coordinating clinical programs with physicians and nursing leadership. North Carolina licensure and BLS are required; no prior experience is necessary.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in North Carolina (required).
• BLS certification.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Select and perform PT evaluation procedures to identify problems and set goals.
• Manage resources to implement the PT treatment plan.
• Complete PT documentation for medical records, billing and statistics.
• Maintain a PT caseload with efficiency and efficacy.
• Provide supervision and teaching for PT students or staff, including feedback and coaching.
• Coordinate clinical programs in response to patient needs and regulations.
