Job summary

Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Staff Technologist to provide care, preparation and positioning of patients for diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Weekend hours include a 1.3x premium rate.

Required credentials include RDMS within 18 months, NTQR, and BLS within 90 days. ARDMS registration is highly preferred and expected within 18 months of hire. Previous ultrasound experience is preferred and on-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and a Sonography program.
• RDMS credential required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• NTQR certification required upon hire/transfer.
• Must become ARDMS registered within 18 months and pass exams within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, preparation and positioning of patients to obtain high quality diagnostic images via Ultrasound.
• Perform ultrasound exams and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.
