St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN is seeking a part-time Pediatric Oncology Nurse II to join Kay 4.

The 17-bed unit offers small nurse-to-patient ratios and a chance to care for patients with hematology/oncology diseases in a bench-to-bedside environment. The role requires BSN and at least 18 months of clinical nursing experience, with RN licensure in TN or compact state, BLS; PALS/ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current TN RN license or license in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• BLS required; PALS/ACLS preferred where applicable.
• Minimum experience: BSN with 18 months clinical nursing experience.
• St. Jude or other RN experience.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric assessment, growth and development, and pain assessment.

Responsibilities

• Care for hematology/oncology patients on Kay 4 unit (17 beds).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.
• Support patient families and contribute to evidence-based practices.
