Job summary

Niklife Home Care Inc. is seeking a compassionate LPN/RN to care for a 7-year-old with G-tube needs in Wilmington, IL. This role emphasizes safe medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and supporting daily living activities at home.

You will collaborate with supervising RNs to implement physician-approved care plans, educate families, and help the child maintain independence while ensuring comfort and wellbeing in a family environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in the state of practice.
• Pediatrics or home health experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic life support (BLS).
• Ability to manage pain effectively and provide compassionate care.
• Excellent communication with clients and families.
• Willingness to work weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing health status.
• Assist with daily living activities to promote client independence.
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate clients and families on health management and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and care provided.
• Support pediatric clients with specialized needs, including infant care.
