Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC, is seeking a Part-time Patient Transporter for weekend days (16 hours). You will safely escort and transport patients within the hospital and communicate with staff, visitors, and patients. Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire is required.
• Experience in patient care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely escort and transport patients within the hospital using proper body mechanics.
• Communicate clearly with staff, visitors and patients.
• Ensure information is relayed between Central Transport and other departments.
