Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for Saturday shift coverage in our clinic. This position emphasizes independent judgment and high-quality care within an occupational medicine team.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, documenting medical records, collaborating with the Medical Director, and supporting center operations. Eligible candidates hold an unrestricted PA/NP license, current BLS/AED; ACLS preferred, NRCME/DOT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA/NP program with an unrestricted license.
• Active licensure as PA/NP in the practicing state.
• BLS and AED certified; ACLS preferred.
• NRCME Certification (DOT Medical Examiner).
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assures licensing, certification, and accrediting compliance.
• Evaluates and treats occupational medicine patients per practice model.
• Maintains appropriate level of care for center patients.
• Completes all medical record documentation prior to end of shift.
• Supports Medical Director to ensure standards of care.
