Job summary

Parkland Community Health Plan is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Main Hospital Building, 2nd Floor, full-time. You will acquire diagnostic radiographs across basic to intermediate exams and ensure optimal patient care in a fast-paced Radiology department.

The role requires ARRT certification within 3 months of hire, a Texas MRT license, and a current CPR/BLS certification. Weekend overnight shifts Sat/Sun/Mon with differential, and strict radiation safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Program.
• ARRT certification within 3 months of hire and MRT license in Texas.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Strong communication and patient-focused skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality radiographs for basic and intermediate exams.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Operate radiology equipment and prep rooms.
• Enter exam data into the electronic health record.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement.
• Prioritize exams and manage workflow.
