Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Florida seeks a Physical Therapist to provide services that restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and support wellness. This weekend option pool position supplements weekend staffing with weekend hours and option pay.

You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, ensure safety, document care, and collaborate with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
• Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida- Temporary permit acceptable.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients, gathering data from patient, physician, and team members.
• Develops treatment plans with clear goals and integrates with care continuum.
• Demonstrates safe use and maintenance of equipment and explains its purpose.
• Re-evaluates and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Communicates when optimal benefit is reached and documents care and billing.
• Maintains regular attendance and adheres to policies and standards.
• Ensures compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
