UCHealth UCHth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is hiring for a part-time Patient Access receptionist/registration role. The onsite position handles patient intake, insurance verification, and basic billing interactions in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and effective communication to guide patients through the visit and required documentation. Prior clerical experience is beneficial.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.

Mansioni

• Meets with patient and/or caregiver to exchange information, explains visit and addresses questions.
• Verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification/authorization as necessary.
• Escorts and transports patients within the facility as needed.
• Determines and accepts payments, including co-pays and deductibles; refers to financial counselors for follow-up.
