Job summary
Turning Point Care Center, Inc. in Moultrie, GA is seeking a General or Addiction Psychiatrist for Saturday and Sunday 10-hour onsite shifts (20 hours/week). Employed part-time with pro-rated benefits, working with adults with dual diagnosis and substance abuse issues, using Cerner EMR.
The role requires board-eligible/board-certified psychiatry, residency training, and GA license with DEA eligibility. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a supportive setting.
Qualifications
- MD/DO with Board Eligibility/Certification in General Psychiatry or Addiction Psychiatry.
- Completed an accredited General Psychiatry residency.
- Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
