Happy to Help Caregiving in Pocatello, Idaho is seeking a Weekend On-Call Caregiver to join our non-medical in-home care team. The role focuses on responding to same-day staffing needs and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to seniors, veterans, and disabled clients in their homes.

The position requires independence, flexibility, and dedication to client dignity, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on-call pay of $16.00/hour, plus $18.00/hour for

Qualifications

• CNA certification or extensive in-home caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home.
• Provide medication reminders (no medication administration).
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
• Transport clients to appointments and errands as authorized.
• Provide respite care for family caregivers.
• Complete accurate documentation and report changes to the office.
• Follow care plans while maintaining professionalism and client dignity.
