Job summary

Lake Port Square, a upscale senior living community in Leesburg, FL, seeks a Weekend Nursing Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing care on the shift and ensure safe, high-quality resident support. This role supports aging in place with comprehensive care coordination and active family communication.

The RN must be licensed in Florida with at least 6 months of long-term care experience. Benefits for full and part-time staff include DailyPay and a range of health offerings.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Florida.
• At least 6 months nursing experience in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on shift.
• Administers direct care as necessary and medications.
• Gives and receives shift reports.
• Rounds twice per shift to assure proper care in a safe, clean environment.
• Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
• Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
• Maintains accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Responds to resident emergency calls and coordinates with other disciplines.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions.
• Ensures proper functioning of equipment and adequate supplies.
• Performs duties as assigned by supervisor.
