Job summary

Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified NP for a part-time weekend role, traveling between two facilities in the Pontiac, IL area. The position emphasizes patient care in post-acute and skilled nursing settings with mentorship and teamwork.

Experience is welcome, including new grads. Training and ongoing education are provided, along with highly competitive pay and opportunities for leadership. DEA registration is required or obtainable before start date.

Qualifications

• Current DEA registration or willingness to obtain prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
• Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
