Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Overland Park, Kansas. This part-time weekend role (1–2 days/week) involves rounding in skilled nursing facilities with strong support, autonomy, and earning potential.

Compensation is fee-for-service with a range of $37,352 to $44,823 annually and no cap on productivity income. You will deliver high-quality care to a diverse patient population, collaborate with an experienced

Qualifications

NP or PA license (State of Kansas) and DEA is required.
Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply.
Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physical exams.
Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach.
Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies.
Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations.
