Altea Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a weekend-part-time role in Morris, IL. You will serve as a key clinical provider in a skilled nursing facility, diagnosing, treating, and guiding patients toward better health.

Qualifications

• NP or PA-C license (or eligibility to obtain) required.
• Interest in geriatrics, internal medicine, or primary care.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous post-acute or skilled nursing care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and review medical histories.
• Order and interpret diagnostics (labs, imaging).
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and create treatment plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and prevention.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
