Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Duluth, GA seeks a Respiratory Therapist to join our pediatric and neonatal teams. You will perform patient assessments and general and critical care respiratory procedures, including neonatal care in Labor and Delivery, and analyze blood gases.

You will maintain and manage equipment, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and nurses. AAS in Respiratory Therapy and current certifications (RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS) are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Experience in neonatal respiratory care or completion of department orientation.
• Licenses and certifications required: RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general/critical care respiratory procedures.
• Provide respiratory care for neonates in Labor and Delivery.
• Analyze blood gases and interpret results.
• Maintain and manage equipment; educate patients and families.
