Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for night-shift, Fri/Sat/Sun 7:45pm–7:15am. You will render professional nursing care using the nursing process and support the hospital’s mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and fosters a cooperative work environment using communication, teamwork and relationship-building.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant educational process.
• Communicates with the team, patients and families and ensures understanding of information.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, timely documentation of patient information.
• Administers medications and IVs safely and timely.
• Takes responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality care throughout the patient episode.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
