Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital seeks a Registered Radiology Technologist for the weekender shift, working 7:00pm–7:00am on weekends. You will perform radiology exams, ensure high-quality imaging, and support PACS workflow with patient-centric care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes.
• Can communicate well with Radiologists and physicians to coordinate proper imaging of patients.
• Strong communication skills are essential to provide excellent care to patients and families.
• Can function well with minimal or no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
