Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 years of clinical lab experience
• Associate's Degree with 2+ years in Clinical Lab setting or
• Bachelor’s Degree with clinical lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen processing and testing independently for moderate and high complexity testing.
• Analyzes test results with understanding of disease processes and correlations.
• Maintains preventive maintenance and troubleshoots instrumentation; takes corrective actions as needed.
• Performs quality control, runs controls, documents data, and communicates QC information to supervisor.
• Reviews or writes departmental procedures or policies.
• Completes competency checklists and cross-trains to support flexible staffing.
