Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Building Attendant Leader for the weekend night shift on the UT Main Campus. You will supervise Building Attendants, ensure proper unlocking/locking, and oversee custodial tasks while maintaining safety and UT policies.

You will lead a team, coordinate schedules, and oversee cleaning and administrative duties, with opportunities for leadership training and flexible work arrangements where available.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in custodial maintenance.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, product labels, and other written materials.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and fill out standard forms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on‑duty supervisor for weekend night shift and coordinate Building Attendants.
• Unlocking/locking buildings and perform general cleaning per procedures.
• Follow UT policies, maintain professional appearance and punctuality, and attend trainings.
• Prepare logs, reports, and training records; meet deadlines and provide coaching as needed.
