Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a licensed Respiratory Therapist to join our team on the weekend shift (7pm–7am). This role focuses on neonatal and general respiratory care across adult and neonatal units, with emphasis on patient and family education and safe equipment management.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences and national/regional credentials, with experience in neonatal care or completion of orientation including competency validation.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences required.
• Experience neonatal respiratory care or completion of department orientation with validated competencies.
• Licenses required: RRT, BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments, general and critical care respiratory care procedures.
• Respiratory care for newborns in Labor and Delivery.
• Blood gas analysis and interpretation.
• Maintenance and management of equipment and patient/family education in both adult and neonatal areas.
