Educated Nannies is seeking a weekend nanny in Calabasas to care for a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old. The role runs Saturday and Sunday, 7 am–7 pm, with possible Fridays and travel. Duties include driving to activities, meal prep, and light housekeeping for children.

A nanny vehicle will be provided. CPR/First Aid and TrustLine certification are preferred, with 5 years of nanny experience. The ideal candidate is patient, organized, punctual, and comfortable with dogs.

Family Syllabus

This sweet family of four in Calabasas is looking for a weekend nanny to join their team! They have a 1-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. Their daughter is very active and loves to always be on the go. The parents work both inside and outside the home, and they have a nanny who helps them during the week. They have a house manager, a personal assistant, a chef, and a housekeeper who work during the day. The family has two small pups, so please be comfortable with dogs.

Ideal Candidate

The parents’ ideal nanny is loving, playful, active, punctual, and ready for adventure. A nanny who is comfortable with toddlers and preschool-aged children, well-versed in the developmental stages of childhood, gets down on the ground to play, uses gentle parenting, and truly has a passion for children is the ideal match. This perfect nanny will be a great communicator and will work as a team with the parents and house manager. A nanny who is calm, extremely organized, tidy, and has a can-do attitude would be the perfect addition to this family team. A nanny who is confident swimming with their children is a must! A college degree is not required for this role.

Job Synopsis

Spend your days engaging with the sweetest children. Duties include driving the children to activities, preparing meals, cleaning the children’s play areas, doing the children’s laundry, and keeping the nanny vehicle charged. The schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday, 7 am-7 pm, with flexibility for Fridays and occasional travel with the family, domestically and internationally, for up to 1 week at a time. The rate for this role is $45/hour gross plus overtime and sick days. A nanny vehicle will be provided while working.
