Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for an outpatient imaging center, requiring 2+ years of MRI technologist experience and ARMRIT certification. The role uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI systems in PACS environment.

Shifts are 3x12-hour days, weekends required, no on-call, and the facility offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MRI technologist experience.
• ARMRIT certification required.
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• GE equipment experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with diffusion, gradient echo, image post-processing, perfusion preferred.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient imaging center setting caring for adult acute and outpatient patients.
• Performs MRI studies of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, breast, head, neck, and spine.
• Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment along with PACS.
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Friday 9:00 AM-9:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM.
• Every weekend required.
• No call requirements.
• Holiday coverage as needed.
• No floating required.
• May provide care to COVID-19 patients.
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free.
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered at a reduced rate.
